My client is a high profile non-profit organisation that has a global to local reach. They are looking to appoint a HR Manager for their HR central service within the organisation.
The role will support senior level stakeholders across the whole organisation and to the establishments it owns and supports. Reporting to the Head of HR Services the HR Manager will provide HR advice and business focused solutions across the organisations and directly to the senior leadership team. As HR Manager you will have 4 direct reports who you will provide expert advice to secure the continued high levels of service the team offer to internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for the continued development of the team ensuring they have the tools to progress whilst demonstrating coaching capability. In addition the HR Manager will support the Head of HR services on key projects for the HR Strategy moving forward.
As an experienced HR professional you will work with the HR Director and business leaders to implement their business plans and strategic objectives partnering with the individual client groups. You will be able to offer expert advice around TUPE and organisational restructuring alongside performance management and complex employee relations. You will be able to offer professional knowledge and a clear and up to date knowledge of employment law legislation whilst continuing to maintain a culture of professionalism and a service that embodies change in how HR should operate in a modern organisation. Due to the high profile nature of the organisation you will be able to display integrity and understanding of the nature of your internal and external partners.
Additional responsibilities of this role will be the continued development and assessment of polices and procedures, safeguarding and working closely with the recruitment team actively support workforce planning and ensuring recruitment and selection processes are in line with current legislation and the D&I polices.
To be successful in this role you will have worked in a organsiation with multiple stakeholders and diverse client groups, you will have worked on TUPE and restructures and have a solid understanding of the due diligence and legal aspects of this. You will have worked with external bodies and ideally with trade union experience also. You will have senior level experience having managed a team however size of team is not relevant. You will be able to evidence your experience working on complex ER cases and manage with professionalism. CIPD qualified or equivalent with clear coaching ability, you will be a calm and approachable with a clear drive to offer excellent HR services to the wider organisation.
Salary: £43,000 - £48,000
