We're partnering with a New York based academic research organization as they look to replace their HR Manager. The previous HRM left due to relocating after nearly 6 years with this institution. The ideal candidate will come from an academic or research organization with 6+ years of experience and core depth in employee relations and recruitment. A degree is required for consideration for this role. Our client has about 200 employees with another 60 leased employees. The institution is supported by a team of 3.5 HR resources and this role reports to the most senior level HR leader. This is a stable and highly collaborative working environment, and a challenging role, given the complex and unique nature of employment arrangements within a more academic setting. This HR Manager will work closely with employees at this prestigious organization throughout the employee lifecycle, from hiring them through their exit from the organization.
