HR Operations Advisor at London Law Firm

A unique opportunity has arisen at one of the most innovative and ground-breaking law firms in London. Working within the firm’s HR and Reward team this role is highly varied but will focus on analysing and improving the firms processes and data analysis.

You will work closely with the HR Systems Analyst, but also with the Payroll Manager, Reward Manager and act as a key connecting role between all aspects of the HR, Payroll and Reward teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor looking to specialise more on the systems and operational side of HR, or an experienced HR Assistant/HR Coordinator looking to take on more responsibility and step up to Advisor level.

What they are looking for is a confident and eloquent HR professional able to communicate at all levels and present their findings in an engaging way to get understanding and buy-in from stakeholders.

The role will also see you responsible for line management of two junior members of the team, but they are happy to consider candidates looking to “step up” into their first people management role.

Other key responsibilities will include;

  • Manage the administration of the benefits process on a monthly basis
  • Train and mentor new joiners within the team
  • Work with the HR Systems & Reporting Analyst to make sure the best processes are in place to ensure better quality data
  • Support the Reward Manager with the annual benefit renewal process, including with data preparation, analysis, and letter production for the remuneration processes
  • Support the Reward Manager with the ongoing maintenance of Willis Towers Watson data
  • Develop a high-level understanding of the data flows between the systems across the firm and specifically the downstream impacts on other departments
  • Be aware of GDPR and other data protection laws, ensuring any compliance concerns/issues are reported
  • Support the wider HR team in ad hoc projects

What they are looking for is an experienced HR Advisor/Analyst/Assistant with solid knowledge of HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills. You must have an understanding of payroll and be keen to lead a team/mentor others.

Excellent communication skills, along with being a critical thinker and able to exercise discretion and maturity when dealing with sensitive matters are essential.
