Our client is a world-renowned and highly successful organisation focused on saving millions of lives and providing prevention, treatment and care services to hundreds of millions of people.

The HR Policies & Procedures Specialist provides reliable, robust and timely advice and guidance to key stakeholders within HR as well as managers and staff in the business, on matters relating to the Employee Handbook and all other HR procedure instruments.

You will be responsible for the creation, harmonization, alignment and updating of Human Resources policies and procedures including the Policy Framework, Employee Handbook, HR Practice Notes and Service Now information as well as all HR website content in conjunction with subject matter experts. You will act as a focal point to HR staff, managers and staff regarding HR policy and procedure queries and ensure that HR policies are easily accessible and understandable. You will also design and deliver training and clinics on HR policies and practices, as necessary, in order to raise manager and staff awareness of existing policies and practices.

The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate a depth of knowledge in HR best practice or have a strong legal background and a real interest in policy writing and HR policy. You will possess strong all round communication and collaboration skills ensuring content alignment at all times to avoid any risk or exposure to the organization.

Preferred profile:

A Master's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent discipline

Relevant experience in Legal or HR policy and procedure related activities

Demonstrated strong values and professional integrity
Proven strong track record in developing, drafting, implementing and explaining policies and practices

Languages:

An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French or one of the following: Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.

This is a part-time position of 0.8 FTE based in Geneva.
