Do you have a background in HR Projects, Talent Development and an understanding of the onboarding/employee lifecycle for junior talent? If so I may have an intriguing opportunity. I have partnered with a matrixed professional services firm as they are seeking a Senior Manager to join on a 12 month FTC maternity cover.
This role will work on defining, developing and rolling out aspects of the trainee onboarding cycle, focusing on creating a best in class service for this population group. With an eye on process improvement there is a cultural shift on talent retention at the junior end of this business, combined with advising leadership on retaining the top talent after their studies with the business.
Partnering extensively with the recruitment team the role will also ensure communications and approach is tailored through the interview process to inductions/onboarding. This will mean a re-design of the pre-joining experience and engaging content to create an image of the firm's culture and approach.
With over 300 locations in the UK the role will lead induction processes and events up and down the UK as well as review and possibly re-engineer any existing programs. Whilst managing a team of 2 (an Administrator and Senior Coordinator) this role will work alongside HR to create a talent identification toolkit and retention strategies, partner with the talent development team to improve line management and look at the broader firm strategy.
