Title: Human Resource Specialist, Contract
Location: Remote (East Coast Only)
Duration: 3-4 Month Contract
Compensation: $35-$50 per hour (based on experience )
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an HR Specialist to support its People function during a transition period. The role will primarily focus on HR operations and payroll-related activities, ensuring continuity across core people processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordination of systems, benefits, and documentation
- Respond to employee and manager HR inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with payroll preparation and auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure timely payroll processing
- Maintain data across multiple HR systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Provide support on employee relations matters as needed
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related processes within the U.S.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles
- Strong understanding of:
- Payroll processes
- Employee lifecycle management
- Experience working with multiple HR systems or platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
