Our client, a "disruptor" in the tech/science arena, is looking for a bright, analytical & dynamic Human Resources Business Partner in support of ~175 corporate employees based in mid-town Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of HR experience in a growing, scaling, fast-moving technology firm where they've looked after all aspects of the human resources function from HR operations & analytics through talent, employee relations, organizational development and beyond. The company has recently received a strong infusion of capital and plans to go public in the next 18 months. This leader will be instrumental in advancing the HR function to the next level as the company enters this exciting phase of its development. The following criteria is essential:
*Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree highly preferred
*7+ years of HR experience out of the technology sector (or fintech, scientific tech, high end small financial, private equity, top consulting firms)
*Mix of larger, well-known reputable firms combined with smaller/startup ideal
*Demonstrated tenure with each employer; strong track record of advancement & promotion
*Experience managing a small team
*Knowledge of all aspects of the HR function including HR operations, analytics, metrics, talent, compensation, benefits, rewards, HRIS, payroll, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, learning & organizational development
*Proven experience using HR data & metrics to drive high impact business decisions
*Ability to provide meaningful advice to key senior business stakeholders
*Experience in best practices, world-class HR environments with strong focus on company culture
