We are delighted to be supporting a well-known financial services business to identify an Interim Reward Consultant to join their London office and play a pivotal role in completing their annual salary review. Covering a maternity leave, this 6 – 9 month role will provide expert guidance on various aspects of cash compensation, share awards and bonus payments. You will work closely with key stakeholders (Head of Reward, FD and CPO) as well as the HR Director to ensure that compensation year end processes align with business objectives and meet regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Share Plans:

  • Understand and interpret the legal provisions of share schemes.
  • Prepare and administer year-end processes for unit and share redemptions.
  • Handle ad-hoc unit/share and compensation issues resulting from new joiners and leavers.
  • Prepare documentation for year-end B-Ord redemptions and Unit redemptions.

Compensation:

  • Support the Head of Reward during the compensation process, including the preparation of salary and bonus related modeling and analysis.
  • Address all reward-related issues to ensure identification and resolution of business, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to the HR team in structuring compensation packages during recruitment and termination negotiations, especially for strategic personnel with deferred compensation structures.

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within financial services or a listed entity.
  • In-depth knowledge of share schemes and cash compensation.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional certifications in HR or compensation (e.g., CIPD, CSCP) are a plus.
