A fast-growing global aviation manufacturing organization is seeking a Lead Recruiter to establish and lead its talent acquisition function in Canada. This is a newly created, high-visibility role offering the opportunity to take full ownership of recruitment while supporting a business experiencing significant growth and investment.
As the lead recruitment professional on-site in Montreal, you’ll be the face of talent acquisition, partnering with hiring leaders across technical and corporate functions and helping shape the future of hiring within the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to offer across technical and corporate positions
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage hard-to-find talent
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and future hiring needs
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of approximately 10-15 active requisitions
- Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
- Provide market insights, hiring recommendations, and recruitment best practices
- Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes, tools, and employer branding efforts
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple disciplines
- Strong sourcing and talent mapping capabilities
- Ability to influence stakeholders and act as a trusted recruitment advisor
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, aerospace, aviation, or other technical hiring environments is highly desirable but not essential
- Bilingual in English and French
