Leader, Compensation Senior Manager
Our client, a world leader in their sector, and thriving household name in the global heavy industrial manufacturing space, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Compensation Leader to, under the guidance of a supportive Head of Total Rewards, lead the US compensation function for several thousand non-union and corporate employees. With an exceptional blend of tactical and strategic project and leadership opportunities, this position is ideal for an individual functioning as director to take their next step as a people leader and receive new or additional exposure to a true total rewards function. Though benefits are not a current focus of this role, proximity to this area is a feature of the position, as well as succession potential in the longer term.
With a team of 3 reporting in and covering compensation, immigration (mobility / expat compensation matters), and systems and reporting, the Sr. Manager of Compensation will focus on the administration and design of ongoing compensation programs, inclusive of broad based, incentive, and some aspects of executive compensation plans. The ideal hire will possess a minimum of 6 – 8 years in designing, managing and analyzing broad based comp programs and several years of experience managing mobility/relocation programs. Prior people management would be helpful and exceptional analytical, problem solving, and executive presentation skills will predict success. This position is based in Morris County, NJ with a hybrid in[1]office model of 4 days per week (environment is nevertheless flexible and employee-focused).
