Our client is a European listed MNC that operates in the Automotive industry. They have strong brand presence in Europe and their business operations are going from strength to strength in the Asia Pacific region. With high growth in this region, they are looking to bring on board a Leadership & Talent Director to be part of this journey.
This role will have a significant impact on people success in Asia Pacific. You will be responsible for partnering with the APAC leadership team to understand their commercial needs and utilise their existing global talent development framework (including tools and processes) as well as design and develop approaches to leadership development that will equip the organisation in this region with the right capabilities that will support its business objectives. You will also be expected to do some ad hoc facilitation as well as work with specialist vendors.
Given the need to partner with the business in various parts of Asia, you will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time (to Singapore in particular).
Ideally, you possess a minimum of 15 years of Learning, Leadership & Talent Development experience, equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. You should have strong coaching skills and have worked with senior leaders on structured development planning.
The organisation requires someone that is highly consultative and has strong EQ. You will enjoy working in a fast-moving environment and operate at both a strategic and hands-on level.
To be successful in this role you should have a solid track record of building strong relationships and levels of engagement with internal stakeholders as well as implementing solutions that have had an impact on developing, motivating and retaining the best people.
