Leadership Development Specialist
My client, a leading Asset Manager is in the market for a Talent and Leadership Development Specialist.
This is a newly created position sitting in the People and Culture team and is pivotal in supporting the senior leadership teams.
In this role you will manage and execute all aspects of leadership development, including the High Potentials programmes, peer learning groups, leadership development curriculum, Organisation Effectiveness and Executive coaching. You will leverage global programmes where applicable to deliver internal content working in partnership with Director, Enterprise High Potential Programs and Development and the wider Global Talent Development Team.
The role requires you to deliver leadership development workshops with or without psychometric tools as required; for example: Situational Leadership, Insights and Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). You will also manage Executive Coaching assignments including setting up coaching agreements, transitioning employees off coaching when agreement is ending and coordinating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
You will also be required to deliver career management and development planning training, focusing on mobility, skills development, progression and promotion pipeline.
The role has one direct report (Talent Development Administrator).
To be considered for this role you will need to have similar talent development experience at this level or in a related role. You will have full training cycle experience (training needs analysis, design, facilitation, delivery and execution and review, with awareness of current L&D trends).
Very strong training, presentation and facilitation skills plus experience of psychometrics and/or qualified in some assessment tools (for example Insights, Situation Leadership II, Hogan)
