A leading retail business in the city are looking to bring in a Learning and Development Consultant to cover a maternity leave in their training team.
This role will will look after the training and development of key staff in the clothing and home department which includes buyers, merchandisers, designers and the marketing team.
You will pick up the learning materials and be highly focused on delivery, providing an excellent service to the different teams to ensure that they are maintaining and improving their abilities to operate in their respective roles.
Previous retail experience will be important to this role as the employees that you are training are likely to be specific to that or a similar environment.
The ideal candidate will have a curious mindset and a strong presence when speaking and presenting in front of large numbers of people during training.
You will be commercially aware and have a drive and passion to improve processes within an already successful business.
There is some scope to work from home once a week with this role.

This role is covering a maternity leave and will be for a maximum of 9 months.
