If you are you an experienced Learning professional with a background in the technical training/skills space then I am keen to connect. My client is an insurance firm, offering technical training and bespoke programs to the Lloyds of London market. Operating as part of a Learning Academy this role operates as an internal learning specialist, analysing the bespoke qualifications and technical training needs for a number of managing agents. Ultimately someone with an ability to evaluate the nuts and bolts of the learning intricacies and create this in relation to the holistic client needs will succeed.
These roles work across the Lloyds of London market, take responsibility for the end to end learning process as well as liaising with external vendors on training delivery. A core skillset is evaluation, understanding and evolving the technical learning needs for the business from Foundation to Advanced levels in the organisations. This role will inherit some learning programs fit for purpose, other areas of the business will require design and delivery from scratch.
Ideally you will have a background in insurance, with an understanding of the technical qualifications. However if you are from a highly regulated background and can think quickly on your feet this could be an interesting role. The client needs competency led learning, so an understanding and interest in mapping these growth paths would be helpful.
Initially this is likely a 6 month FTC, as the Academy Director is looking to bring in new talent to re-invigorate the offering. These roles will require diligent and driven learning professionals, willing to roll the sleeves up and sit alongside commercial leaders to influence change and garner buy in on the programs.
