Circa £40,000

Hybrid working – 3 office / 2 home

Offices- Holborn, Chancery Lane, Farringdon area

I am currently looking for an experienced Talent and Development Coordinator to work for an exciting Advisory organisation that works within public affairs / relations.

The role is paying circa £40,000 and offers a hybrid working arrangement. They would be looking for 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Duties

  • Advertise programmes to prospective attendees
  • Ensure attendance is accurately captured and recorded to support with continuing competence records and other continuing professional development requirements
  • Liaise with speakers/trainers regarding seminar materials and logistics
  • Liaise with facilities regarding catering, room lay-out, AV and other equipment
  • Liaise with external venues to plan programmes/workshops
  • Produce learning materials in accordance with speaker/trainer instructions
  • Supervise the production of a face-to-face session from start to finish (e.g. room set up, AV equipment, learning materials, stationery etc)
  • Where training is run virtually, attend and produce the virtual class to ensure smooth running and optimal participant experience
  • Assist with talent management programmes as required
  • Support on ad-hoc projects when necessary

Requirements

  • Experience of working in an Learning & Development / Training & Development role within a HR Function
  • Experience in scheduling, organising and administrating events/programmes
  • IT proficiency – a good working knowledge of MS packages (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), keeping up to date with system enhancements
  • Working with a Learning Management System
  • Communicates effectively at all levels and across teams, both verbally and written
  • Excellent organisational and numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach
