Learning & Development Manager
This leading international law firm is looking for a Learning & Development Manager to join its global team.
Based in the City of London with a hybrid work pattern this is a great opportunity for either a senior adviser ready for their step up or a Manager looking for a new challenge.
The L&D team provides learning and development for all staff globally through training programmes and other development support. L&D supports the business in developing the firms talent and delivers business skills and personal development training for partners, associates and support staff. They design and plan the overall delivery of training and work closely with the wider teams to ensure the smooth set up and running of each programme.
The team sits within HR based in London and this role will reports into the senior manager with overall responsibility for associate development.
One of the key focuses of this role is on associates and trainees and supporting other members of the team with facilitation and delivery. The firm continuously reviews its L&D offering and part of the role will be initiate reviews and refreshers of programmes that are currently available as well as looking at future needs and current technology available.
The firm is looking to meet with candidates who have previous L&D experience with solid design and implementation experience of successful development programmes. You will also have some experience in delivering (skills) training. Of particular interest is experience within the professional services sector (including law firms). Candidates need to be client focused and demonstrate understanding of the business context including aligning training to business priorities and strategy. They need to be credible with senior management and adept at managing a range of stakeholders.
