Learning & Development Manager
Empowering people and building teams that are diverse in thought and experience is central to this Cheltenham based firm that puts people, culture and values at the heart of everything they do. Learning & development is central to this and they are looking to hire an L&D Manager who will play a key part in the development of Learning programmes and contribute to the wider HR team.
Reporting to the Head of HR the position will manage an L&D Co-ordinator and is responsible for the L&D structure and management of external vendors. With a focus on ‘soft skills’ and non-technical training the position will be responsible for:
* Developing and delivering L&D plans and resources
* Working closely with HR colleagues and Line Managers to support training needs analysis and provide specific training
* Ownership of the L&D content and programmes, establishing both internal & external resources and experts
* Communication of L&D initiatives across the business
This position will suit someone at L&D Manager level or an L&D Advisor looking to make a step up. It’s likely that you will have supported a corporate head office environment with a track record of delivering non-technical and ‘soft skills’ learning and training. With a strong understanding of developing and delivering innovative training and learning solutions and programmes, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
You will need to able to access central Cheltenham and the company offers hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days/week in the office.
