I am delighted to be working with this highly reputable and well-established organisation based in West Sussex to help them recruit a HR Operations/Shared Services Manager. This organisation prides itself on the services it provides to customers. They are market leading in their industry and believe in making a difference in what they do. This role is a key position within the business as it is critical in delivering an efficient, effective and first-class service to the organisation.
As the HR Operations/Shared Services Manager you will have two main areas of focus, Employee Relations and HR Administration. The objective for the Employee Relations team is to ensure successful resolution of employment cases within agreed timeframes and in accordance with company policies. You will manage the activity and performance of the Employee Relations and HR Services teams analysing the nature and frequency of employment cases providing advice to line managers on how they might be avoided.
The objective for the HR Administration team is to processes all activity around the employee lifecycle and provide up to date advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures. You will ensure your teams have a thorough understanding and strong knowledge of employment law, Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance management and absence management as well as being confident with all HR policies, process and procedures. You will constantly be looking at process improvement, data and metrics to ensure an efficient and excellent service to the end user.
To be successful in this role you will have an impressive background and solid skill set of operating and delivering within a HR Operations and Shared Service role. You will have the ability to conduct detailed analysis of the accuracy and timeliness of HR Service delivery to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure your team is working to their SLA's. Your experience of leading a highly successful team within a complex matrix environment will be of real interest to my client along with your ability to map, identity and implement process improvement to continually ensure a seamless and proficient service to the business. You will have a detailed knowledge of employment law as well as the ability to identify and manage high volume case work, mitigating risk and adverse outcomes. You will be natural leader who is driven to provide an outstanding service to all business units.
