Our client, a small investment management firm, located in midtown Manhattan is seeking an Office Manager/HR Generalist to join their team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with hiring processes – scheduling interviews, tracking resumes, etc.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheet of all recruiter terms
  • Assist with employee onboarding (and offboarding)
  • Assist in the implementation of general office policies
  • Prepare semi-monthly payroll – allocating expenses, and reviewing 401k deferral elections
  • Assist with the scheduling of year-end review and compensation meetings
  • Collect and review year-end deferral election forms and entries
  • Support and assist with the creation, rollout, and aggregation of annual reviews
  • Maintain employee files, information, and records
  • Manage and maintain the tracking of employee PTO

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance and organization of management company files
  • Receive and review all management company invoices, enter into QuickBooks and setup wires
  • Maintain vendor folders – save invoices and wire confirmations
  • Reconcile monthly AMEX transactions
  • Manage year-end 1099 process
  • Prepare general internal and external correspondence as requested or needed

  • Must be resourceful and a self-starter
  • High sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
