The ideal candidate will:

Payroll Description

  • Process the end-to-end payroll for multi-state US payroll and reporting including bi-weekly payroll to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time.
  • Timely and accurately process all regular pay, special payments and bonuses/commissions
  • Understand the nuances of different pay types including salaried and hourly
  • Manage the relationship with the ADP payroll suppliers
  • Keep up to date on legislative and tax changes and ensure The SR Group Beazley adopts best Ensure payroll systems are kept updated at all times including new hires, leavers, changes in terms, bank changes, etc.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc management information reports and payroll reports as required
  • Provide support with payroll/benefits queries, etc
  • Maintain accurate and orderly personnel records, I-9s, etc.
  • Support with the end-to-end process for new joiners from a payroll and benefits perspective
  • Support with the end-to-end process for leavers from processing initial resignation letter to processing final payroll
  • Assist with all internal and external audits including the 401k audit, worker’s compensation audit and internal payroll audits
  • Oversee state, federal, internal & external recurring reporting requirements
  • Investigate and process payroll & benefit invoices/reports

Benefits Description

  • Work with our benefits brokers to ensure new hires, terms and life event changes affecting benefits are processed correctly and on time.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in benefit renewals and various qualifying life events throughout the year.
  • Participate in the annual US benefit review and renewal process. Assist and test changes and updates, liaise with brokers and providers, provide proper enrolment files in a timely manner.
  • Maintain ADP benefit carrier connections from ADP to the main US benefit providers
  • Support US/CAD various leaves and absences including Parental, STD, LTD and FMLA
  • Actively support 401k administration process and audits

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2+ years progressive payroll-related experience.
  • Excellent sensitivity, confidentiality and judgment
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail required
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong customer service attitude and communication skills
  • Preferred but not required, experience with ADP and 401k
