Frazer Jones partnered with a leading legal and professional services firm to assist in their hiring in HR department. They are looking for a payroll addition to their team to join their office in Newcastle-under-Lyme where majority of central functions sits.
As Payroll Coordinator you will join an established payroll team overseeing 1450 colleagues’ monthly pay across more than 20 locations in the UK. With previous experience in payroll you will provide timely assistance in daily processing of payroll related data, including manual adjustments, calculation and system data maintenance. You will bring adequate knowledge in UK legislation, tax and statutory payments in order to help employees with their queries when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing starters and leavers
- Making appropriate salary adjustments, statutory payments and deductions, overtime payments
- Processing P45, P60, assisting with P11Ds
- General system maintenance ensuring all employee information is at up to date
- Dealing with payroll related queries and resolving these effectively
Candidate Essentials:
- Experience in payroll processing is a must
- Experience working in multi-site organisation
- Up to date knowledge with PAYE and general payroll legislation
- Strong Excel skills
- High administration and planning skills
