Payroll Manager - Reputable Logistic Company

Our Client

A Payroll Manager position has become available at one of our reputable Logistic clients based in Hong Kong. The role will sit at country level, have a predominant focus on Hong Kong payroll and sit as part of the HR Operations team executing excellent service delivery to meet business strategic objectives.

Job Description

  • Report into Head of HR Operations who is based in Hong Kong;
  • Lead a team of 5 and ensure timely payroll, final payment, MPF & tax arrangement, visa application etc;
  • Liaise and manage external payroll vendors on service delivery;
  • Review payroll policies and procedures to ensure best practice in operation;
  • Prepare HR analytic reports for management reviews;
  • Ensure information on HR system is up-to-date.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or other related discipline;
  • At least 8 years of payroll experience in a sizable logistic/engineering/manufacturing company;
  • Proven leadership ability and team management experience;
  • Well versed in HK Employment Ordinance;
  • Strong time management ability and forward thinking with strong analytical and presentation ability;
  • Complete fluency in spoken & written English & Chinese is a must.
