Payroll Officer – £45,000 – £50,000 + Bonus – City of London
Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name within Financial services on the recruitment of a Payroll Officer to join on a permanent basis.
Our client is offering hybrid working (3 days per week required into the office)
The Role:
- Supports payroll operations by reconciling, inputting, and compiling payroll data, maintaining payroll records, and calculating payrolls.
- Addresses queries from both Finance and HR teams.
- Assists in maintaining the Empower and Assessa Systems.
- Investigates errors and provides responses to employee inquiries.
- Manages communications with HMRC and DWP regarding employee claims.
- Administers the HR/Payroll System and updates the Assessa P11D system.
- Collaborates with the Benefits Team to ensure smooth benefits processing via payroll.
- Aids in the setup and maintenance of monthly Management Information reports.
- Manages split costing and recharges on a monthly basis.
- Operates within the Bank’s Risk Management framework and complies with relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, promptly escalating any concerns to their supervisor.
Skills Required:
- Strong UK Payroll Knowledge.
- Expat/ shadow payroll exposure.
- Excel knowledge
