Our client is a global financial services group with presence in over 30 countries and regions. Its main business divisions in Hong Kong are Investment Banking and Global Markets. They are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to look after full payroll cycles in Hong Kong.

Job description

Reporting to Payroll Lead in Hong Kong, you will work along with 2 other teammates to handle full payroll cycles together. You will also receive support from a Payroll Specialist team based in India. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, accurate and timely payroll process. You will also handle annual tax return filings, timely statutory and pension contribution, rental reimbursement program, and support on employee benefits administration. You will act as the key contact person and handle all employees’ payroll related queries.

The Successful Applicant

To be a successful candidate, ideally you will be degree qualified and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll and tax filings. Candidates from payroll vendors are also welcome.

You should be familiar with labor legislation, aware of government regulations relating to payroll. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese is required to process documents and communicate with English and Cantonese speaking stakeholders.
