I am delighted to be supporting a luxury boutique hotel based in the beautiful countryside of Hertfordshire. The hotel is entering an exciting stage of growth and they are looking recruit a People and Culture Manager to lead the people team and support the leadership teams on this exciting journey.

About the role

As People & Culture Manager you will create a vibrant culture that shows passion, authenticity, and connection to their values and ethos. Within this role you will focus on all HR generalist activities such as unleashing talent potential across the hotel and collaborating with department heads to design captivating learning opportunities and bespoke career paths for our team. Recruiting and attracting the best talent by developing and a employee value proposition that is inclusive and exciting to potential new colleagues.

You will also nurture a dynamic work environment by fostering a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that celebrates individuality and encourages fresh ideas. Alongside inspiring leadership teams to collaborate with the family owners, Managing Director, and General Manager to shape our People strategy and drive the business forward.

About you

Ideal you will be an experience HR professional that has worked in a generalist capacity and lead a team previously. Preferably you will have worked within the hospitality industry or similar customer service lead business.

You will be passionate about bringing out the best in other people and are full of ideas you want to try in achieving that goal. You will have good UK employment law knowledge and experience of dealing employee relations cases.
