Plant HR Manager – Werkspersonalleitung (m/f/d)

Frazer Jones is working with one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of automotive products. We are searching for an HR Manager responsible for all HR processes within a plant in Baden-Wuerttemberg. About the role:

* In this role, you will be part of the management team of a plant consisting of 700 employees, with the majority working on site.
* The HR Manager will be managing a team consisting of five people taking care of a wide range of responsibilities, including talent development, talent acquisition, change management, implementing company mandated HR policies/procedures and legally required employment-related laws/regulations for the facility.
* Work with managers, employees and works council on a daily basis to develop, implement and manage plant-wide employee communication and engagement initiatives.
* Take care of the knowledge management to support organizational consistency and manage HR information systems incl. HR metrics, headcount reporting and payroll.
* The role’s purpose is to ensure that all of the before-mentioned processes are implemented and regularly improved to guarantee that HR is an efficient supporting function for the whole plant. Due to the company’s structure, this role is a leadership opportunity that provides growth opportunities for the future.

Profile needed:

* The job requires substantial experience in HR in a managing role, including staff supervision, within a manufacturing environment or a plant setting.
* Strong experience working with a works council and knowledge of German Tariff law are vital for the role.
* Substantial experience in talent acquisition, development and change management.
* A person that proactively demonstrates their ability to lead, think critically and strategically and solve problems creatively.
* Proficient German and English skills are required.
