100% Remote (Ideally: NYC, Boston, Chicago, VA, Dallas, LA, SF, DC)

Our client is looking for a Recruiter to join their Human Resources team. The Recruiter will be responsible for support and management of recruitment processes, partnering directly with the Talent Management team to support business leaders with their recruitment needs. The ideal candidate will lead the full life-cycle of recruiting and fostering relationships with key stakeholders including hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and external vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional client service to the aligned client group, promptly addressing all related requests and queries, streamlining and improving our Recruitment processes to ensure best practices in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage end-to-end recruiting activities:
  • Source and develop a candidate pipeline via proactive, direct sourcing and partnering with external search firms
  • Partner with the business to understand talent needs and deliver strategies and solutions for recruiting
  • Manage the communication flow between hiring managers, candidates and search firms
  • Advise hiring managers on considerations such as level, compensation, and responsibilities
  • Provide a high-touch experience to all candidates from application stage to offer
  • Understand the market and create external presence for Ares and its businesses:
  • Identify trends, issues and opportunities in the marketplace relevant to your talent pools
  • Build relationships with pipeline organizations for talent
  • Participate in industry conferences and events
  • Provide guidance and insight to management to help attract, retain and develop top talent
  • Coordinate with other departmental recruiters to assist with open positions in other functional areas
  • Identify opportunities to improve the overall recruiting and hiring experience for both managers and candidates


  • Bachelor's degree

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of recruiting experience, preferably within financial services and experience with corporate, retained and contingent recruitment search experience
  • Experience with Workday and/or ATS platform(s) preferred
  • Ability to directly source a pipeline of top diverse talent across all levels

General Requirements:

  • An appreciation for hiring analytical talent and can speak fluently with business leaders who need to hire for specific skills in the financial services industry
  • A hands-on approach and ability to synthesize business operations and talent needs
  • Good knowledge of recruiting tools and resources (LinkedIn)
