Our client, an iconic media company with just under 500 employees, is seeking to hire a Recruiter to join their HR team. This is a newly created role, working alongside a team of 2 Recruiters, and reporting directly to the SVP, HR. The Recruiters are carrying 20-25 jobs each on average and this role has been created to ensure that the team is properly resourced in order to be able to provide full life cycle recruiting capability to the business.
Our client is seeking a generalist recruiter who can work across all functional areas and levels, but who also has the capability to support data science, product, and technology searches. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and the ability to negotiate complex offers, particularly where candidates with equity are seeking a buyout, deferred compensation, or a sign-on. There may be an opportunity to transition into a leadership role within recruiting in the future, as the company prepares to grow and scale with imminent plans to transition from private to public ownership. This is a remote role with the company being headquartered out of Jersey City, NJ.
