  • From application stage to offer, for the External Relations/ Development team.
  • Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to identify methods to attract qualified candidates and to develop hiring plans.
  • Sources candidates, reviews resumes, conducts telephone screening and in person interviews and refers qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Provides consulting on talent acquisition and recommendations to hiring managers
  • Maintains ongoing communication regarding progress to management
  • Ensures information is properly maintained within ADP- Applicant Tracking System.
  • Coordinates with hiring managers on recruiting trends, market climate, talent pool, compensation matters and interview strategies.
  • Handles recruitment inquiries in a responsive, customer-focused way - providing comprehensive and efficient first line of information and advice.
  • Supports and advises Hiring Managers to follow correct procedures and best practices to ensure high quality recruitment.
  • Communicates effectively at all levels, over the phone, face to face and by email.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (HR or business degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment
  • Understanding of the nonprofit market preferred
  • Intimate knowledge of all steps in the full life cycle of recruitment and selection
  • Proficiency in online recruiting, social media, ATS and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to quickly develop trusted relationships with hiring managers and assess needs and appropriate strategy for each open role.
  • Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases with a strong command of desktop computer skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel especially).
  • Strong sense of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organization, communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong initiative and problem solving skills. Ability to be resourceful, creative, and flexible.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
