We have partnered with a global, scaling fintech client as they look to hire a Regional HRBP to own all HR capabilities for The Americas region. Our client received a significant infusion of capital last year and is transitioning from a self-hosted to a SaaS product offering. The Americas population is largely a go-to-market organization. This HRBP will have a great deal of autonomy in deciding how to action HR for the region, but will need to work with HR counterparts in APAC and the company's European headquarters.
Our client is seeking candidates with a stable track record and progressive growth in HR, having worked in more established companies at the onset of their career, but working successfully in a scaling start-up environment more recently with passion for building the HR function and owning all aspects of HR end-to-end. This role will entail more strategic aspect of HR, such as counseling the business on organization design and talent management initiatives; down to owning recruitment, negotiating and administering benefits, and keying changes to payroll and auditing payroll (which is processed by Finance). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of HR business partnering experience with exposure to and technical expertise in all areas of HR. Experience supporting a sales/go-to-market organization would be a plus.
Our client does not have vaccination requirements beyond what is mandated by law. There will be some travel early on to the European HQ for training and development. For the first 6 months, the HRBP can expect to work onsite in Midtown Manhattan a few days per week, tapering down to 2 days onsite per week once relationships are established.
