We are pleased to be collaborating with a European-headquartered luxury company on a Regional HR Director search. On top of a longstanding legacy, our client remains ceaseless in their efforts to roll out meaningful and bold innovations to stay ahead of their competitors. Their ability to strategically leverage on social media platforms and celebrity ambassadors has likewise enabled the client to constantly (re)establish itself as a modern brand that continues to remain appealing and relevant.

To support their expansion plans within Asia and ensure that excellent service delivery is sustained within the organisation, our client is seeking a Regional HR Director to steer the ship for the region.

Job Description

Reporting into the Regional Managing Director and managing a team of HR professionals, the HR Director will be the trusted advisor to the leadership team where he/she will conceptualise and drive HR strategies and initiatives to support their exponential market growth, including leading and directing all regional HR development activities. The HR Director will be managing the regional HR organization in the deployment, recruitment, people development, change management and employee relations, particularly in the high growth markets like Southeast Asia. The HR Director should have the commercial acumen to understand, analyse and pre-empt any business insights, challenges and/or complexity of market conditions, and provide the necessary HR interventions.

Amongst their HR strategies and projects, there will be a focus on their talent pool, which includes talent development, talent engagement, talent acquisition and the talent “readiness”, across diverse markets.

The Successful Candidate

We are ideally looking for a HR leader with a strong track record in supporting and driving a high growth and fast paced organization within the FMCG, Retail, Luxury and/or Professional Services industries. As a proven HR leader with at least 10 years of leadership experience, you have a broad knowledge of HR capabilities and best practices, coupled the ability to develop and execute insightful and meaningful HR strategies to support an evolving and dynamic organisation. You have a consultative and engaging personality, and able to influence and partner with the board and the leadership team. You have prior experience managing and developing a high performing HR team and ideally benefit from having extensive cross-cultural work experience, being culturally sensitive.
