We're working with a global pharmaceutical group in their efforts to hire a Regional HR Director for Asia Pacific Region. While this company has a well-established footprint in headquarter, their growth for the foreseeable future will be realized by expanding their international footprint.
Reported into Global Head of HR, this role will partner closely with leadership team and COE in analyzing business needs, defining talent strategies and drive HR programs. By embedding the company's talent management transformation agenda throughout the region, you will serve as a business partner to upgrade their talent through a maturation of dialogue and processes to facilitate the growth of the business and ensure commercially competitive operations. Suggestions are also needed in improving company-wide compensation and benefits package so as to enhance market competitiveness and retain right talents.
The internal client group has high expectations in this new Regional HR Leader as his/her primary goal is to re-build rapport and act as a vocal point for business; meanwhile, support and autonomy will be offered for this Regional HR Leader to accomplish clearly articulated goals and objectives. The company has an established, well-developed HRIS which will enable this HR to come to the table prepared with appropriate data to back up their recommendations. The role will also be in a position to recommend enhancement initiatives and lead the projects through to implementation.
The Successful Applicant
Our client is looking to hire a strategic change agent. They require someone who has similar industry experience and is a strong relationship builder who can influence leadership. Candidates who have experience working for best-in-class HR organizations with a mature, well-developed HR policies & infrastructure, talent management standards and practices, inclusive of diversity and inclusion initiatives, are preferred. Prior experience in a regional role with close partnership to country managers is critical for success in this role. We are looking for candidates with 15+ years of experience, and ideally 7+ years of experience in an APAC hybrid role. A competitive total rewards package will be offered.
