We are pleased to partner a leading Banking conglomerate to appoint a Workday Specialist (Total Rewards) for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This commitment towards putting people first extends internally, which explains why they are looking for an adept Human Resources (HR) practitioner who is able to provide advanced subject matter expertise on Workday modules, thereby enabling Total Rewards strategies to be actualized effectively. Based in Singapore, this is an individual contributor role.

Reporting into the Regional HR Information Systems Director, this role has both advisory and operational elements. At its most fundamental, you will take ownership and be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the suite of Workday modules related to Talent, Compensation and Performance. This includes the provision of timely and accurate support for all regional users. At appropriate junctures, you will conduct testing activities to identify outstanding issues and suggest recommendations for enhancements. Conducting user trainings and any associated activities (e.g. preparation of materials) routinely to raise overall workforce competency as well as to convey any changes/updates intelligently constitute another cornerstone of the role. Essentially, you will work collaboratively with global and other regional (EMEA, Americas) teams to deliver excellent employee experience and implement key projects.

This successful candidate will ideally possess strong understanding of how Human Capital Management processes (Talent, Compensation, Performance) are delivered through systems practices. Workday expertise is preferred but prior experience with other HR Information Systems will also be considered as long as you demonstrate willingness to pick up Workday configurations. Aside from possessing the technical know-hows, excellent communication skills are pivotal as you will be the internal go-to person for any Workday/Cloud Deployment issues. Those with a demonstrated history of diagnosing process inefficiencies and proposing relevant recommendations will be looked upon favourably.
