Global Energy

London / Hybrid (3 days in office)

Up to £62,000 + bonus + benefits

We’re working with a high‑growth, global energy business that has built a strong reputation delivering energy solutions across key locations worldwide. The organisation continues its development with an innovative entrepreneurial approach, supported by a commercially focused relationship‑led culture. They’re now hiring a Senior Global HR Advisor for an approx. 14‑month FTC to cover maternity leave, starting this summer.

Led by a highly credible HR leadership team, this role sits within a well‑established HR function supporting a high performing, globally distributed workforce (c.200 headcount). You’ll partner closely with senior leaders across Commercial and Corporate functions, handling a broad operational remit while contributing to clearly defined people projects during an important phase of evolution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with Heads of Department across your portfolio
  • Keeping HRBPs informed of operational themes and people insights to support quarterly people strategy discussions
  • Providing day‑to‑day ER support, performance management and manager coaching
  • Supporting planned restructures and sound, risk‑aware decision‑making
  • Contributing to HR projects including global policy reviews, L&D roll‑out, bonus documentation and system enhancements (LMS/ATS/payroll)
  • Managing operational HR activities such as monthly payroll and end‑to‑end maternity/paternity processes
  • Involvement in recruitment processes and stakeholder interviews
  • Occasional travel to meet stakeholders across Northern Europe (typically up to once per quarter)

What they’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor / Junior HRBP in a commercial environment
  • Comfortable balancing operational delivery with stakeholder engagement
  • Confident advising senior leaders with a measured, constructive approach
  • Strong ER capability with a calm, practical and risk‑aware mindset
  • Exposure to international organisations and multiple jurisdictions
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in FS, energy, oil & gas, or similarly regulated sectors welcomed
  • Spanish‑speaking – advantageous

This role suits someone who works best in an agile, high performance setting. Please apply to be considered.
