We are working with an internationally recognised and highly successful manufacturing organisation in Gloucestershire to recruit a Senior HR Advisor/ Junior HR Business Partner on a 12 Month Contract basis covering maternity leave. You will provide generalist support to designated business areas, leading on recruitment, succession planning, complex ER cases, restructuring and other business-enhancing HR initiatives. You will partner with managers and key stakeholders to support them through business change and strategic objectives. You will maintain the HR System Workday, utilising it and other sources to provide up to date real time information to the business, to allow them to make accurate business decisions.

 

Projects on the horizon that you will be heavily involved in include; the creation of an employee forum and site engagement, leadership/management development programmes and the improved utilisation of the HR system. You will provide hands on operational advice and guidance to managers and overarching strategic support to enable meeting overall business objectives.

 

In order to be successful in your application you will need generalist HR experience ideally gained within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution, supply chain or construction. You have experience utilising HR systems - Workday experience would be an advantage. You are very comfortable leading on recruitment campaigns, complex ER, leadership coaching and development and employee engagement.

 

You are modest, hardworking and have excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. This position would suit an HR Advisor looking to step into a business partnering role or a junior business partner seeking to expand their remit with the support of an established team.
