Are you an HR Advisor already working within legal looking for a step up to Senior Advisor level?

I am pleased to be working with a long-established City-based Law firm with a very positive culture who are now growing their HR team of eight. They are keen to speak with potential Senior HR Advisors who have broad experience and are keen to be part of an involved and proactive team who offer positive HR support to their colleagues.

About the role

This is a full HR lifecycle role where you will be supporting around 100 colleagues and will advise at all levels. You will have plenty of opportunities to work on varied projects and build on the already strong HR reputation within the firm.

In this hands on role you will support managers on a broad range of employee relations issues ensuring there is a consistent approach across the business. Other business partnering areas wills include reviewing the progress of new joiners during probation, analysing absence trends and addressing associated issues, exit interviews and working closely with managers on capacity and recruitment needs. You will take on recruitment for your group; writing job specs, liaising with agencies, interviewing, and preparing offers. You will also conduct HR inductions, manage the HRIS, look after family leave and flexible working requests.

As this is a new role you will have some influence over the choice of which teams you support and in the long term there is likely to be further team growth with associated promotion possibilities.

There are strong benefits on offer including a discretionary bonus, generous pension, gym membership, dental and health insurance, pilates in the office etc.

About you

You will be an experienced HR Generalist who has spent the majority of their HR career within Legal, ideally in a small team with a lot of exposure. You are confident communicating with senior stakeholders and would ideally have a CIPD qualification. You will be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of employment law. With a strong academic background you have high emotional intelligence and a willing and proactive attitude.
