Following a restructure within the business services teams, a law firm I have worked with for over six years are looking to hire a new Senior Human Resources Business Partner.
You will be formally managing four HR Business Partners who, between them, split the practice groups and business services populations. Along with direct team management, you will also take responsibility for one of the larger practice groups which will allow you a healthy mix of hands-on HR operations as well as more strategic initiatives.
The team are well-established, are perceived positively within the firm and have dealt with the recent restructure with ease. If you are interested in this position, it would be helpful if you can evidence experience of dealing with ambiguity and show you have the ability to flex your style, depending on the situation.
There is the opportunity to truly influence in this firm. Personally, I think this would suit someone who is working in a larger environment and who is struggling to showcase their autonomy and ability to make changes. This role could also offer an experienced legal HR Business Partner an exciting chance to 'step-up' into a truly fulfilling and challenging role.
Candidates who possess experience of a law firm are being prioritised at this stage. If you have experience of another, similar partnership environment, or have previously been aligned to a population of lawyers, please do apply.
The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
