I am thrilled to be partnering with a global investment firm urgently seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist on a 12-month paternity leave cover. Based in Sydney CBD, you will join this well-regarded and high-performing HR team in supporting the APAC region.
About the role
This role will offer a healthy blend of strategic and operational support to the APAC region, specifically focusing on HR operations, compensation and benefits, and talent management.
  • Compensation and benefits responsibilities:
    • Salary benchmarking
    • LTIP support
    • Annual review of reward compliance
    • Mid-Year and Year-End process
    • Benefit policy/wellness
    • Local procedures and documentation/risk control
  • Talent Management:
    • Deliver engagement surveys, present results and solutions
    • Drive culture improvement initiatives
    • Identify high potential talent, improving retention
    • Succession planning
    • Organisational design
  • HR Operations & Global Mobility
    • Oversee HR reporting requirements
    • Lead APAC contact for inbound relocations
    • Advise on appropriate visa options be the expert for the firm
    • Oversee visa application process
    • Oversee immigration compliance
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 5 years' experience within a Generalist capacity, ideally from a global matrix organisation. You will also have proven experience offering commercially astute advice to stakeholders across compensation, talent management and organisational design. You will have worked with compensation and benefit plans and have an in-depth knowledge of talent management and performance management processes. You will be highly analytical, able to deduce data and create a narrative for managers, be an excellent communicator and build relationships with stakeholders across the region.
To allow for handover, this role is due to start in February 2022. paying c.$150k plus Super.
