About Our Client
Our client is a remittance Fintech organization and they are currently growing very aggressively globally. They have just spun off another business within the group and will be looking to further capitalize on the market's need for digitalized convenience. Given the growth and expansion, they need to be looking at building sustainability of the business and hence is looking for a Senior HR Manager to join them.
This is a newly created position and you will work closely with the CEO to build up the HR capabilities of the organization and ensure sustainability of the business. They have foundational HR elements in place however, they would like to move the HR sophistication up a notch in order to further attract, develop and retain employees. This would be a 50% operational and 50% strategic role and hence rolling up one's sleeves and getting hands dirty would be part and parcel of the role. In the next 12-18 months, they are hoping to build upon the talent management initiative of the organization as well as to further review the existing compensation & benefits philosophy. With the aggressive growth plans in mind, the individual would also need to help build a pipeline of talents in the market to meet the growth numbers.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you should possess a minimum of 12 years in a HR Operations & Business Partnering capacity equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. The successful applicant should be someone who has the mental agility to be both hands-on and strategic simultaneously. Given that this role is to upscale the HR maturity of the organization, the selected individual should be ready to hold difficult conversations and influence mindset shifts with staff across all levels. Someone coming from tech or telco industry would have advantage due to the similarity of business complexities.
