About Our Client

Our client is one of the players in the services/logistics industry. Amidst the challenges of the industry, they are on an upward trend in terms of their revenue/profits and are emerging strong in terms of their market share and branding. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, the current incumbent has decided to take a sabbatical break and hence we are currently looking for the replacement of a Regional Head of HR, South East Asia.


Job Description

This is an end-to-end portfolio where you will be responsible for both the strategic business partnering activities as well as the daily operations. You will partner closely with the APAC Head of HR in developing an overall long-term HR strategy in line with the organization's mission statement and strategic direction. You will also be leading a sizeable team across the region to ensure a high level of operational efficiencies and strong touch points with the various internal and external partners. In the midst of all of the business-as-usual, you'll also be a change agent to drive the transformation agenda.


The Successful Applicant

Ideally, we would be looking for an individual who is able to toggle very quickly between being strategic and hands-on at the same time. Given the structure and set-up of the business, they would need someone who is meticulous, analytical and structured to help drive the business forward. Someone who is able to toggle and relate to both the blue collared and white collared workers would be highly sought after and someone who has experience in managing regional negotiations with unions. Someone who can be highly intuitive and sensitive to different cultures and how to manage their way of working would be highly advantageous.
