About Our Client

Our client is a European company in the pharmaceutical industry. They have been undergoing transformation across Asia Pacific and are looking to upscale their human capital capabilities in the past few years. The transformation has been successful and is moving positively under the director of the VP of HR. With the new organizational structure in place, they are currently looking for a Regional Senior HR Manager to join their team.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the VP of HR for Asia, you will be responsible for both the R&D and Sales functions, leading a team of 5-6 people. You will be instrumental in running the South East Asia portfolio while also working on both regional/global HR projects. They are in the midst of transformation and hence would require this individual to put on an organizational design hat to look at existing structures and reporting lines to ensure a highly efficient and effective workforce 2.0. You will take on a business partnering role within SEA and also work on both talent acquisition and employee engagement activities.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you should possess a minimum of 12 years of HRBP experience, equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. The ideal candidate should come across as someone who has strong stakeholder management skills and have proven track record of partnering and influencing the business from a HR standpoint. They would be looking for someone who has been in tough/hard industries who have no qualms in rolling up sleeves and getting their hands dirty, while maintaining a high level strategic mindset to managing HR. You should come across as a people's person with strong energy levels and have the innate ability to manage a team. Ideally, to have also managed both commercial and plant environments in their careers.
