The Bank for International Settlements seeks a Senior Human Resources Business Partner as part of a new Bank-wide strategy that calls for closer alignment of the people and organisational aspects with the evolving needs of the business. Based in Basel, Switzerland, the BIS is the world's oldest international financial institution. It was founded to support global monetary and financial cooperation, and serves as a bank for central banks. Its member jurisdictions account for 95% of global GDP.
You will work closely with business leaders and line managers and provide strategic and functional HR advice, in particular for performance management, employee relations, organisational development and talent management. You will collaborate to design and support the implementation of an HR strategy and workforce plans for client groups, based on a strong understanding of business strategy, priorities and challenges. In this process you will actively contribute to the Human Resources and the BIS organisational development and be actively involved in change management and HR initiatives/projects.
Your qualifications and career profile
We would like to meet candidates with extensive experience as a strategic HR practitioner, gained within an international environment. You will have a proven ability to work effectively with business leadership, manage challenging employment matters, possess a good knowledge of labour frameworks and change management capabilities.
