One of the world's leading financial services businesses is now looking to hire a Senior Manager to join their wider compensation team. This newly created role will support the UK location (c300 staff) and will act as the subject matter expert on all aspects of remuneration and related governance, ensuring the London office meets its local regulatory and Group remuneration obligations, while supporting day-to-day remuneration management. You will be responsible for monitoring and implementing remuneration regulations (have just finished implementing CRD V), review remuneration policies and processes in line with applicable regulations, manage the meeting schedules, agenda, documentation and review process for relevant London remuneration committees (RRF & RAC), and submissions to the Group People & Remuneration Committee, in support of these Committees' mandates, managing the development, review and approvals of content for all related meetings. Key duties will be to ensure compliance with all applicable UK and European regulatory remuneration rules (PRA & ECB) and Group Remuneration Framework requirements, monitor regulatory remuneration developments and local market practice and (where appropriate) in conjunction with Group Performance and Reward help to develop recommendations for approval by all relevant remuneration stakeholders, regularly review all remuneration related processes, procedures and documentation to support the UK's remuneration regulatory compliance and provide assurance of this compliance to Group remuneration stakeholders as required. You'll manage and maintain all Material Risk Taker (MRT) assessments utilising the MRT Identification Policy and SOP, maintaining a clear audit trail of changes to MRT status for individuals within their business/ functional area and coordinate the MRT Identification Report, including Risk and Compliance review. Manage London accountabilities related to the annual remuneration review process and remuneration frameworks (for example feeding into bonus pool consideration, manager guidance, including applying performance frameworks, and risk adjustment guidance to outcomes) As a result the business is looking to meet Reward Managers with extensive compensation experience including wholesale banking / capital markets compensation, related governance, compliance & disclosure in the UK / EU Financial Institutions sector, together with proven success at senior stakeholder management in a complex matrix environment.
