Are you a Recruiter with a specialist understanding of the IR35 space and an ability to deliver on contract hiring? If so then this could be a great opportunity, as I have taken on a Senior Recruiter role (initial 6 month contract) to support the roll out of these core changes. This position will work very closely with the senior leadership across the business, advise on the IR35 impacts and ultimately work on reshaping the hiring strategy to allow the business performance to operate as usual.
The role will still maintain the hands on recruitment element, helping the UK business units to hire contractors to support their business areas. Whilst this hiring will continue, this role can work closely with the external agencies to understand candidate movement and the available talent pools so that hiring isn't impacted by IR35.
As the business moves away from contractors in certain areas, this role will act as a consultative support for leadership as well as helping to deliver the message to employees. Part of the challenge will be defining areas for restructure and helping to maintain a key proportion of the talent on a permanent of fixed term basis too. A background in the contract space is essential in understanding contract conversions and how to approach this.
An initial 6 month contract the client would strongly prefer to hire on a fixed term contract basis. However if there is a very strong contractor who's preference is for a day rate it won't rule them out.
