About the role:
Our client, a notable high-growth, tech-driven firm, is seeking an experienced compensation leader to head their compensation programs and processes across a global landscape. The firm offers a midsized and rapidly growing employee population, wherein this hire will own the planning, design and administration of global remuneration programs, processes, and yearend compensation review. This exciting full-time opportunity will be seated at their global corporate headquarters in New York and will report into the Global Total Rewards Leader. The role is ideal for an individual with 10 or more years of strategic compensation expertise gained in complex, matrix environments, with at least five or more years of strong people management and a record of developing talent. The position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a dynamic global compensation function and oversee a small team of compensation professionals while providing continuous thought leadership to socialize and apply strategies to enhance their global offering. The ideal candidate will possess:
A strong understanding of regulatory and governmental employment landscape, with knowledg of policies, and procedures neede in a publicly traded firm
In-depth knowledge of global compensation program design, development, analysis, and administration to be applied their alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A demonstrated ability to create and nurture relationships while influencing people at all levels of the organization
The ability to manage large, complex projects, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Compelling presentation skills and a confident and persuasive writer and communicator
Minimum of 10 years or more of compensation experience
5+ years of people management experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), Advanced degree: MBA or Master's degree (or equivalent) preferred
