About Our Client
Our client is a highly reputable heavyweight in the technology sector and with various M&As and expansion projects under their belt, they are looking to build a higher level of sustainability, diversity & inclusion in their culture. This was driven primarily by the VP of HR previously, however with the growth of the organization and the need to be highly talent centric, they have decided to newly create the Talent & Diversity Director position for the business.
This role has a significant impact on People Success in Asia Pacific. You will be responsible for the overarching strategy of talent and leadership, ensuring the talent bench-strength is adequately pipelined through a stringent and revitalized talent assessment/identification framework. You will also be involved in executive coaching and leadership development where you will hone the skillsets of current leaders and high potentials with the relevant soft-skills and mindsets that would enable them to succeed in their positions and help bring the organization closer to its business objectives. You will continuously streamline policies & processes through creative brainstorming and adapting from best practices in the market. You will also design and reformulate the talent mix according to the ever changing dynamics of the environment and economy. The organization welcomes individuals who easily connects with others on an emotional and strategic level, have the ability to develop the organisation and its people, the ambition to shape the future and the tenacity to deliver on these ambitions. Additionally, diversity & inclusion is a big part of the entire talent equation and hence, this individual would need to have a strong appreciation of the discipline and drive engagement talks / coaching with the people managers and business leaders.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you possess a minimum of 15 years of Human Resources experience reputable MNCs, equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. This individual should have held positions where they had full responsibility over the entire talent agenda for Asia, working closely with business leaders to revitalise talent & assessment structures and identify new areas of focus. They would require this candidate to be able to work in a fast-moving culture and someone who could be both strategic and hands-on. The successful individual will possess executive presence, ability to develop new concepts and have displayed influencing abilities across management.
