Our client is a top tier legal firm with a consulting arm has newly created a position for an experienced operations manager to oversee the learning & development programme for their legal consultants. There will be a focus on ensuring the consultants have a robust employee experience that will continually drive towards a high performance working culture.
In this role, you will be instrumental in building out the delivery of a career development framework for the consultants. You will ensure that internal communication strategies are sufficiently placed for maintaining employee engagement. You will also ensure dynamic careers mentoring and coaching is available for consultants - right from induction to deployment guidance support. From a resourcing perspective, you will also be responsible for representing the consultants to any potential clients. In this role, you will report into the managing director for the region, who is based remotely.
- Background in working closely with legal professionals. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the legal sector and its intricacies.
- Ideally, experience in development a career development framework that covers induction, coaching, delivering training sessions, providing effective feedback and performance management.
- A proven relationship builder with credibility and gravitas in dealing with client requirements from a resourcing perspective.
- You should either have a lawyering background or have practiced legal resourcing/development. External recruiting consultants with a focus on the legal sector would be welcome.
