Job Title: Temporary Payroll Specialist
Location: Remote (North America)
Compensation: $30-$40 per hour
Overview:
Our client, a leader in the technology space, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team. With a strong presence across North America, the company operates in various industries, managing payroll for a significant number of employees. This position offers a flexible remote work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with Celergo and ADP WFN systems, along with advanced Excel skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Top 3 Requirements:
- Experience with Payroll Software: Celergo and ADP WFN experience
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience
- Proficient in Excel, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for employees across multiple entities.
- Perform data entry across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy of payroll data such as hours worked, pay rates, and deductions.
- Maintain and update employee records and payroll information as needed.
- Manage the Employee Stock Purchase Program enrollment and contributions.
- Collaborate with the Head of Indirect Tax & Compliance and North America Finance to process vesting payrolls.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Address employee payroll, benefits, and deduction inquiries.
- Support payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and reports.
- Report monthly terminations, new hires, and changes to relevant partners.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, handling multi-state and multi-entity payrolls.
- Proficient in Celergo and ADP WFN systems.
- Strong Excel skills: Expertise in Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to manage employee inquiries and collaborate across departments.
- A flexible mindset, able to adjust to new processes and procedures as needed.
