On behalf of a global professional services firm, Frazer Jones are working on an exciting opportunity for a

VP/Director People Business Partner (m/f/d)

to join their leadership team in Munich, Germany. This strategic position, within the global matrix organization, will partner with the business as a gatekeeper on all significant people-related decisions and be responsible for developing and executing the people strategy across the region, in line with the organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • First point of contact and sparring partner for talent management and development topics
  • Partner with senior leadership to plan and execute the people agenda
  • Develop and promote strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees and improve DEI initiatives
  • Lead region wide HRBP projects and ensure alignment with strategy as a trusted and integral part of the leadership team
  • Liase with respective stakeholders to assess headcount plans, develop hiring strategies, and optimize client engagement resourcing
  • Manage issues related to performance, flexible working, and employee feedback
  • Identify training needs, develop a career development framework, and review compensation benchmarks
  • Manage local HRBP and project teams and coach leaders to develop their people leadership skills
  • Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s strategy and communicate it effectively internally and externally
  • Build lasting and trusted relationships and interface with internal and external stakeholders

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 9 years of professional HR experience
  • Solid experience in performance management, talent management, organizational development, and change management
  • Strategic and commercial mindset
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Ability to build credibility and to influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team player who can be accountable for results, with a streak of independence
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and judgement skills with an attention to detail
  • High ethical, moral, and professional standards
