Workplace Relations & Policy Consultant
Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnering with a growing international restaurant business on building out the People & Culture team. They are currently hiring a Workplace Relations/Employee Relations & Policy Consultant to act as the custodian for all P&C related policies whilst ensuring robust employment practices are in place making it a great place to work. The business is on a mission to deliver healthy and high-quality food with amazing service.
About the role
Working as part of the People Services Team, you will create and own all HR policies whilst helping with case management for issues such as grievances or performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop the policy framework and a library of resources
- Supporting on case management and ER related matters
- Provide timely advice to leaders and employees on awards and employment legislation
- Maintain a database of workplace relations issues and track trends
- Provide monthly reporting on grievance metrics
- Collaborate with the business on policy application and adherence
- Build a knowledge bank of collateral accessible to managers and leaders
- Monitor and advise on employment and industrial relations changes
About You
The ideal candidate for this role enjoys a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing. You are comfortable with ambiguity whilst also creating structure and order. You are flexible, driven, passionate, positive, collaborative and curious. We are looking for someone with around 3-5 years’ experience in workplace relations/employee relations. You will also need experience (and enjoy) writing policies from scratch.
This role requires 4 days in the office/ 1 day from home. The salary is $140,000 + Super. The consultant is Angela Franks and the reference is: PR/229374
